The Doubles was run as a swiss with final round between the two best pairs - I haven't bothered to include the scores, but Clingan & Johnston were undefeated. Fitzgerald and Williams had a close shave against Carl von Schmieder & Yvonne Marrinan, going 6-2 down, but fighting back. Evan's partner was late both days, leaving Evan to mount spirited single-ball challenges, in which he scored 4 and 5 points, including running hoops 1 & 2 in one stroke! The consensus was that the pair would not have done so well if Evan's partner had been there.

The plate results include preliminary warm-up games. Elimination at this stage was not needed, as 12 players dropped oput in the days before the event - bad,bad show.

Prize money for the winner was €300, and €100 each for the doubles.
