Mrs Jean Gibson was a member of Windsor Croquet Club for twenty years from 1938. She had outstanding managerial expertise and was President of the Australian Croquet Council 1954-1956.
After her death in 1958 her husband donated one hundred pounds for a Medal in her honour. The competition has been played every year since 1960.
