The weather today was initially overcast with a fine drizzle, clearing and warming up to a comfortable 21C. Remaining forecasts (from (The Press):

The lawns at Fendalton Croquet Club (Christchurch) are in superb condition. Because of the morning dampness no speed check was made but as they dried out players commented very favourably on how fast they were.

Unfortunately there is no internet link at Fendalton but now that I'm becoming more conversant with croquetscores I'll have another go at loading results tomorrow from my phone as they become available.

The tournament is being played as a double round robin with no time limits. All games bar one finished in well under three hours.
