This tournament commenced at 7.45am on a bright sunny Saturday morning here in York, Western Australia. A cool breeze kept the temperature down in the morning but by mid afternoon it was around 30 Celsius.
A full complement of eight players from the upper levels of Croquetwest AC players took part in this annual event run by the York Croquet Club.
Saturday saw the first four rounds being played with the last game finishing around 7pm under lights.
At the end of the day four players were tied on three wins each with the net point difference between the top three being a mere 7 points. So all is to play for tomorrow - Sunday.
