I've been asked to point out that the main draw/knockout is the "X" event . We had 16 players start in the X - the final match in the X is the grand final.
The 8 losers in the first round of the X go into the Y (playing for places 9-16)
The 4 Losers in the first round of the Y go into the W (playing for places 13-16)
Losers in the second round of the X go into the Z (playing for places 5-8)
Losers in the third round of the X go into the play-off for third/fourth
