Next up - Hamy Erian v Mostafa Nasr.
02 Oct 2014 5:28PM (Tournament); 1 Readers
The players are warming up. Hamy is the Nigel Aspinall type - does what is needed and only uses maximum power when the occasion demands. Mostafa normally has only one approach - flat-out attack which is hugely entertaining to watch. His four hoop blitz against Salah Hassam in the 2006 GCWC final in New Zealand will not be easily forgotten by those who saw it (B cleared to near C3, so B runs 3 hard. Next turn K runs 4 from 20 yards to S boundary. Two turns later, K runs 5. B is cleared to C1 from in front of 6 and then promptly runs 6 from C1. You get the picture.)
