Clips are Simon - green for 4back, brown for hoop 1, DFwayne has pink for hoop 4 and white for hoop 1.

Simon puts clip on 4 back and has given no lift - so not sure how that all eventuated.

Sets a leave on east B , 9y nth Cnr 4 with the rush facing 1, pink west of 1 and white 7y Sth of hoop 2,
Dwayne must have a target with pink as he is turning down the shorter shot at White and hits green.

Makes hoop 4 , but has some work to get break organised

Greg keeps breaks under tight control and has run 3 back with a rush on red to rover , unlucky on the rush hits the hoop upright but stays on the leg - a bounce nth would of been handy- takes off back to yellow near 3 back ; blue load at 4 back is nth of the hoop , so still has some tidy up play to come

Dwayne fails to get break going and has his two balls East B , level with hoop 4, Simon hits 20+ yarder with green ball

Sorry CS jamming up, and had to copy and paste - so commentry mixed in the two games

Simon has the lawn, needs a take off to hoop 1 from a few yards, runs hoop , appears he thought hoop and roquet was a certainty - so now has a 15yarder back - misses and hits the hoop to give Dwayne a 2 yarder ; that was a laid lawn and TP set up , Si will be pretty cross at that one getting away

Dwayne makes hoop 1 and has lawn in front of him

Dwayne misses hoop 2 , from short distance - Si shooting with brown from near peg hoop 4 line, hits 15 yarder at Dwaynes white ball near hoop 2.

Stephen takes off to hoop 1 , not quite so takes position - Greg hides Cnr 4 ish - Stephen runs 1 , pings at 2 and misses

Greg lags to 5 , Stephen takes position at 2 , Greg runs 5 hits peg in the middle - has nothing

Si hit a good 15 + yarder after Dwaynes miss at hoop 2 and looks better with this break, no peels and clubs through hoop 6 to nth boundary - hits 9 yard return roquet

Long lining up from Greg on these roquets , which is a slight change to his M.O of the last 2 years ; I take it the Cairnlea lawns have a bit of movement in them and it's more like a putting line up

Greg hits solid roquet rolls 20 yards to 2 back sending yellow to 3 back - not great , blue 7 yards short and yellow nearly off Sth boundary ; pings at hoop and rattles but not through - no lift

Dwayne up to 3 back and setting leave - not sure what, balls are kinda random

Stephen hits good roquet , rolls to hoop 6 , loading 1 back , good roll but misses 1.5 yard straight hoop , left leg , so greg has 6 yarder, and hits

Dwayne has constructed a reverse D spread , peg ball a bit west , so heads Cnr 2 - both balls rolled out 6 yards apart

Greg rolls to 2 back, runs hoop with lots of wire so no rush to 3 back

Good roll from Greg to 3 back has hoop from 2 yards 20 degrees , ends in jaws - so lift to Stephen

Stephen lifts to A baulk , misses to east boundary

Si lifts green near peg, shoots from b baulk and misses into Cnr 4, Dwayne hits his 6 yarder on the left and rolls nicely into hoop 2 , crashes hoop though

Greg runs 3 back , hits Stephen and rolls to 4 back , good roll and has 2 yards straight , runs hoop to boundary and has a flat rush along nth boundary

Si hits 11 yarder with his 4 back ball and starts a break

Greg has 10 yard straight roll to penult, ends up with 1 yard hoop and yellow 3 yards nth of rover , blobs penult, Stephen takes lift from B baulk ......... And clips the leg

Greg runs penult and hits a 10 yarder to east boundary , rolls to rover - both balls a bit short , has 40 degrees and about 2.5 ft, rejects back towards his feet

Stephen hits with a great cut 2 yards Sth of hoop 6

Runs 6 with wire , no rush , so approaching 1 back from boundary and 45 degrees , plays it well and has 1.5 yard hoop, good controlled run, hits another great 6 yard cut to 2 back

Si goes to peg, Dwayne hits lift

Good 2 back , good shot to 3 back , but fails hoop - with wiring lift

Greg shoots from A baulk and hits

Dwayne misses hoop 2 for the third attempt in a row, getting hoop checked

Greg croquets yellow towards hoop 2 and clips 3 back trying to get to rover

Greg lags to rover , but is long , Stephen misses to Sth boundary below 3 back

Greg takes a better position , Stephen takes on the 7 yard hoop , gets left leg again and ends up two yards from Greg , Greg wins + 5

Si misses, Dwayne runs hoop 2 and has a break ahead - clip recap , Si peg and 2 back , Dwayne 4 back and break - up to hoop 5 , no peels looking likely , unless we get a Dwayne Pipe special or hopefully a 2 v 1

Greg supershot with yellow nearly level with peg and 3 yards west, Stephen optimum distance east boundary , greg misses into east boundary from b baulk 7 yards from blue Stephen hits partner making a double from b baulk and has break under way - safely through hoop 3 - looking tight and comfortable in this break

Dwayne has broken down at penult

Si taps on with his 2 back ball and has an easy ish start to a finishing turn

Stephen up to 3 back and sets an attacking leave with red 1 inch nth hoop 1 , yellow tucked in nicely NSL hoop 4 position , but something goes stray and Stephen ends up yellow Going to west boundary level with hoop 2 - his black stays close to hoop 4 and blue is Cnr 4 , not sure how it eventuated , but greg lifted Red shoots from b baulk at yellow and hits

Simon wins game 3

Greg through hoop 1 , hits a return roquet , loads hoop 3 and has a tap on to his hoop 2 pioneer, break should be ok - black still in Cnr 4 to deal with though

Greg misses return roquet after hoop 3 , not sure how long ? Stephen shoots from Cnr 4 at 11 yarder west of hoop 4 load - misses

Greg shooting with red nth boundary at yellow 28 yarder , turned down 12 yarder at blue and a ball at his hoop for the hit , however Stephen misses from west boundary at his blue , greg hits his 7 yard shot red at yellow - splits yellow to hoop 6 going to black east boundary , sends black to hoop 5 getting a good straight rush on blue to hoop 4 , play sit well and now safely through 4 with break ahead

Simon make break to 4 back , and sets OSL , Edward hits 13 yarder - seems an afternoon of OSl's - which Simon explains is the lawn , 3 back needs lots of double loading and break play is tricky with the hills on lawn 3

Edward has made a good hoop 1 , and hit a 9 yard return roquet - has standard TP in front of him, playing pink ,

RF Chips Brown in 3 yards, rushes pink to Cnr 4, loads pink 5 yards nth hoop 4, rushes green to 3 yards west hoop 1, rolls in great and has 8 inch straight hoop

The good stuff to watch, RF setting good Pop leave, followed by the big accurate rushing ball movement to get break and hopefully TP under way . Nice grass covering at Cairnlea, but noticeable roll offs and pronounced hills - bit more than normal Cairnlea condition at this time of year - making breaks tricky .
RF loading hoop 4 , has green and pink at 3 but peelee not in front of 3 , runs hoop hits peelee , croquets it to 1 yard in front of 4 back and rushes green into a little bit of. Ahead spot between hoop 4 load and hoop 5 - an uncommon RF rush - contemplates just taking off to hoop 4 load, changes mind and stops it towards 5 and hits 4 yarder medium soft back , rolls to hoop 4 - all back on song

Edward puts break down at penult , clips are pink for penult, white for 4 back , Simons brown which he is playing , is for 4back and his green is for 3 back . Simon appears to of wired himself at penult trying to get a rush on pink to 4 back - scatters

EDward makes penult sets good leave on west boundary , Simon shoots from his scatter ball position - misses into east boundary level hoop 4 , Edward has his rush facing that spot . Rushes to rover , runs to Sth boundary , hits green 5 yard return and has a crucial no lift leave to set

RF still having to play some good shots to keep the TP going, through 2 back with penult to still peel , 3 back load isn't great and peelee needs tidying - which RF does - take off to 3 back ball is good , rush of 3.5 yards is good , cut rush after 3 back, was unlucky with the lawn - ball moved 12 inches off line after hoop run that ruined the rush , but well played

Edward make break from 4 back to peg , wins game 1 against Simon +9

RF peels penult to r yards nth peg, rushes it back to green 2 yards Sth penult , loads it to rover , 1ft out and slightly east , but spot on lawn reading - it moved quite a bit
