Dave had the first ball to 4b v Mark. Mark rolled over to c1 after the contact and then Dave hit from c2 to c3 - he's hit a lot of these in the event.
As he did in a game yesterday opted for a big roll sending partner to 2, but this time the back ball went out next to Mark handing him a 4 ball break.
Mark failed 4.
Dave had a standard TP under control, but over rushed his peelee for his straight rover peel and had to lay up rover and peg and Mark missed. Dave finished +23

I played Wixy in a poor game where we both stuck in the front of a hoop and were lucky enough to have the opponent hit the hoop and stay there the following turn from shortish distance.
I had had the first ball round and Wixy was replying but failed a straight forward hoop 6 and I finished with a TP.

James has beaten Mulliner +25

Paddy looks like he broke down on a TP for 6 and penultimate and then got back in again with his penultimate ball with Jeff still on 2&4.
He has taken his penultimate ball to the peg and laid up level with hoop 1 and Jeff cross wired at 3.

Paddy technically is still in contention, but just by his finger tips now with Dave having won again.

Jeff leaves his balls in c1 & c4 having pegged Paddy off.
Paddy plays a good croquet stroke sending the ball in C4 to 1b going to C1 and then an even better one approaching 6 to 2 yards straight with Jeff's ball a nice deep reception ball. Paddy fails 6.

Dave and James have set up to resume their pegged down game. James is taking a long lift with Dave on 4b and peg.

James misses. Dave has rushed well to 4b and should finish. This will eliminate Paddy, and leave Dave only needing one more win.
