greg walks around contemplating all options , shoots with the black near hoop 4 and centre balls red, great roquet !, loads red to nth of hoop 3, has a cut rush on yellow to blue, more cut than he would want , so powers it into cnr 2 , plays a safe roll loading hoop 2 and has a 2.5 yard straight rush to hoop 1, rushes 3 yards nth hoop 1

greg under full control, has jimmy's red ball tight at 3, only the one TPO attempt this weekend , conditions have been suitably tough to make players err from the tactic, but lawn and hoops playing easier today and last life left to make the final may change that.

greg looks sharp and every shot so far has been on the money ( pun intended ) peelee through by 1.5 feet ,makes this a 90% + chance to finish the peeling turn , jimmy though has some memorable 2v1 successes to draw on , so will have a good chance

greg rushes cnr 3 after hoop 4 and is able to set a load to hoop 6 , rush below 5 and send peelee nicely in front of 6 , gets a rush out of 5 , keeping it perfectly tight .

greg peels red through penult from 1 foot , was looking for a deliberate jaws ( as escape ball was close and a wee bit awkward ) peelee pops through by an inch though.

greg rolling red to rover from penult going to a 5 yard NE load at 2 back , plays it well , red 1 yard from rover and a 3 yard straight rush to 2 back - greg plays the death roll a lot , so was not a great risk shot for him , always good to peel rover early on a TPO for a better contact leave options

peelee rattles and bounces half an inch back straight , handy rush peel position still though , after penult before rover - or straight rover

greg takes off from yellow , goes past blue, rolls both balls cnr 4 area , blue into cnr 4 and black sth boundary 6 yards west of cnr 4

as jimy was lining in yellow , they discovered blue was incorrectly lined in by ( TB says 2 inches ) so result is jimmy gets shot again ..

jimmy swings and hits half a ball cnr to cnr attempt two , must say not a great outcome ( might be correct , but I think i might of deemed my shot ) - very much like aaron crudens conversion retake against Ireland 2014 when they charged early and cost ireland the match as he cooly kicked it on second attempt

jimmy gets break under way , plays some good shots , but fails hoop 3 into a squeeze situation , jimmy comes into clubhouse and says greg has third of a ball - greg sensibly plays black into cnr 2 , if it wa sblue he might of shot at the edge as jimmy had no return swing on any clean miss

jimmy runs hoop 3 and bounces out of hoop 4 , greg hits the 6 yarder , takes off thick to black in cnr 2 and sends yellow sth of hoop 1 , rolls behind hoop 2 and leaves jimmy with a single ball back ball target - jimmy to cnr 4

greg rushes into an unlucky spot bt hitting hoop and bounces directly behind hoop by an inch , plays a delicate little shot wiring both balls - but a thin wire will have to give jimmy something , does leave enough room to hit jimmy on west boundary if he so chooses to shoot

the way the game is shaping greg can be very patient and win with out conceding a lift by creeping around past jimmys hoop 4 clip , so jimmy will need to shoot sometime , but also has enough time to bide and wait for a shorter shot . don't think it will come for a while though as greg looking in good control of the game sitiuation

jimmy effectively needs to run the hoop or close to it , to make a roquet ... lines up and hits the black , didnt appear to have much of it , so must of been a double , tough to make a break though as he needs to play a good roll after rushing blue to south boundary , puts black between 1 and 2
