East Midlands Championship (AC)
Draw and Process Format by Ian Vincent
For those not familiar with the Draw and Process format, a random draw for a knock-out is done (the Draw), which is then systematically re-arranged to produce another knock-out, which is called the Process. The two knock-outs have the property that if players meet in the first round of one, they are in opposite halves of the other, thus reducing the luck of the draw. If the same person wins both knock-outs, they have won the event outright; if not, there is a play-off between them.
