The weather was dry and sunny all day. Alan had a good win over John, David had a fairly quick win over Brian but Janice and Chris had a hard fought game with Chris taking an early lead and going round to 4b. He then got the second ball startd but broke down trying a triple and let Janice in. The innings changed hands several times until Chris finally peeled 4b off the lawn with a lift pending. Steady play saw Janice finally edge 1 ahead when time was called.
In the second round Janice again had the game which went to time with David scraping through 17-15 by hitting Janice's leave to regain the innings. The other two games finished fairly quickly.
Round 3 saw fairly clinical wins for David, John and Alan leaving David and Alan to play for the overall lead. Alan had the chance to start but failed to get going and David then won in 3 turns. Chris and Brian had a game with the innings changing hands regularly before Chris finally won.

John and Janice pegged down on fading light and 40min to go. John on 4b and peg has lifted the 4b ball and has a 12yd shot at Janice's balls in C2 or a 17yd shot at partner NE of 4. Janice has a rush to John's partner ball with her 2b ball the other is for penult.

Malmet games all pegged down. Just as well I brought enough pegging down sheets for them to use too 😉
