Hope this email finds you well and you are all set for your trip to Mount Maunganui.

As mentioned in Croquet Matters there is coaching for all tournament entrants on Friday Afternoon starting at 2 pm going through to 4 pm. Philip Drew will be conducting this session and I’m sure you will gain something from the session.

Play will start at 8.30 am on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a cuppa ready for you at 8 am.

The Blocks are up on Croquet Scores – play will be a Round Robin of 2 games in succession. There will be no time limits. At the conclusion of Block play for the Open Section the Winners in each block will play a Best of Three Final and Block Runner Ups will play a Best of Three for 3rd and 4th placing.

The 5+ Section will also play a Round Robin of 2 games in succession and at the conclusion there will be 2 Super Sections (top 3 from each and bottom 3 from each) will be played.

As per the Year Book the Mount are only charging a club house fee of $3 per day – this will cover tea/ coffee and biscuits during the day. Lunches will be available to order – a sheet will be available along with a price list.

We are looking a organising a Dinner on Saturday night – this will be at the Mount RSA (the Club is fully booked) – if you could email me back if you would like to come I can make a booking.
