Jose the leader had to play me. Jose started by shooting at 5, going through it cleanly past hoop 6. I just nicked this 8 yarder and left the 2 balls just out of c2 and C4. Jose missed the ball near c2 and I hit managing not to go through the small middle of a double.

I went to 3b with no peels and then missed a 23 yarder after Jose contact turn. Jose popped me to 2, laying up 1 and 1b with a diagonal cross-peg with the rush for his hoop 1 ball. I hit the lift, grovelled through 2, but hit an 11 yarder at the hoop 3 pioneer and finished the quad.

Christian hit 4th turn established a break but failed 6. Stephen went to 1b. Christian hit a long lift shooting at the in lawn ball as he didn't fancy the flatness of the boundary line. However he didn't get a break going, failing 1b. Stephen centre balled an 18 yarder with the 1b ball. He cross-wired Christian's balls at 2 and layed up in c1 (the direction of the wiring making c4 unplayable). Christian missed and Stephen completed the SXP.

Gavin was having a TPO against James, but was in a relatively uncontrolled position for the rover peel. Gavin caused himself a big problem by croqueting what should have been an escape ball a foot in front of rover. Having to peel from an angle, the peelee just got through, but the hoop shot was hampered and Gavin failed. James completed the four ball break to win.

Dave found some form to finish off the contact after Samir had TPOed him.
