Kathleen got the scoring underway with a 19 yd roquet with red to Lindsay’s balls (set up at Hoop 2 ) which she turned into a break of 8 , jawing in nine.
Lindsay took the easy hit in with blue and made 9 leaving a diagonal spread leave . Kathleen missed the lift ending up in corner IV with red and Lindsay missed his chance to get going with black.
Kathleen had to play with her forward ball so loaded hoop 1 with Lindsay’s forward ball . He then attached Kathleen’s set rush at hoop 2 but missed, giving Kathleen the opportunity to get going with yellow. With black in Corner IV she used a three ball break to make 12 and wired Lindsay’s balls around the peg leaving her balls at hoop 4 with a rush to 3 back.
Lindsay missed the lift shot from A Balk so Kathleen played & got right around. There was a difficult moment after Rover when an unexpected roquet spoilt her plans for a rush back to her yellow north west of the peg but she salvaged a decent rake off and a must do roquet which brought her to a 3 yard peg out and the game and the Qld Div 1 Championship .
