There are thirteen entrants in the Don Reylands Stars Tournament to be held at the Fendalton Park Croquet Club this weekend. The tournament will be run as a full round robin with seven rounds on Saturday and six on Sunday. This provides between five and seven games each day for participants depending on when their bye falls. The winner will be decided on games won then net points then who beat who then by coin toss or similar.
I have asked Fendalton to make the lawns available on the Friday afternoon for practice. They have agreed but may also be doing some work on them e.g. hoop setting.
At present the weather is looking pleasant.
The tournament is due to start at 8.30am on both Saturday and Sunday so I would hope to see you by 8.10am on Saturday to allow for an introduction and a five minute hit up before starting play at 8.30am.
