Desert Classic Tournament Guidelines
 You may have a 5-minute warm-up prior to the start time of your first game of the day. Gentle hoop running is permitted during warm-up period. After the first game of the day, be available to start your game 10 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Begin your game with whatever balls are available, if all players are available, flip for who starts. No waiting for solid balls.
 Please make a point to be prompt for scheduled games. Start early if the lawn is available.
 3-hour time limit for Championship games & 2-hour time limit for 1st Flight, unless informed differently.
 Play and Rules will be in accordance with the Laws of Association Croquet – Sixth Addition (2008) – Advanced Play. Dawson Balls will be used
 You may stop the clock for double banking interference in the last 20 minutes.
 Last ball of last turn will cease play as soon as he/she has a lead.
 Players are responsible for reporting scores to TD or writing the scores down on the Scoresheet.
 All scores will be updated on Croquetscores.com as expediently as possible.
 Tournament information and results will be posted each morning both by the lawns and on the “Commentary section of Croquetscores.com”. Please validate prior day’s scores as well.
 Playoff seeding will be determined by 1) Wins 2) Net Points 3) Record against 4) Gross points. Playoff brackets will be posted on completion of the last block games.

 Lunches are available at Sports Shop/55th Express Window and Main Clubhouse.
 Thursday, Friday and Saturday times not indicated on printed schedule are reserved for playoffs. The intention is for Top 6 to come out of block and enter into Playoffs in Championship flight and Top 8 to come out to play-offs in First Flight
 Playoff’s in Finals and Semi-finals in Championship flight will be best of 3 matches, quarter -Finals best of one. All playoffs in First flight will be best of one.
