CNZ National Formats of Play
Doubles: - 2 American Blocks of 7 teams with 7 rounds of Block Play. Each round is to be played twice – best of 2 x 13 point games. Games are to be played consecutively, blue and black balls will start the first game, red and yellow balls will start the second game.
Sunday 3rd January: - Rounds 1 to 4
Monday 4th January: - Rounds 5 to 7
Knockout – 4 teams qualify from each Block with 3 Rounds of knockout play.
Monday 4th January: - Round 1 best of 3 x 13 point games
Tuesday 5th- January: - Semi finals best of 3 x 13 point games, Final best of 5 x 13 point games
Tuesday 5th January: - 3rd and 4th playoff best of 3x 13 point games.
Tuesday 5th January: - Bowl 5th to 8th Block play off, best of 3x 13 point games
Plate – one American Block of 6 teams, 5 rounds best of 1 x 19 point games.
Tuesday 4th January: - Rounds 1 and 2
Wednesday 5th January: - Rounds 3 to 5, Winner decided on results of Block play.
Singles: - 3 American Blocks of 9 players with 9 rounds best of 3 x 13 point games.
Wednesday 6th to Friday 8th January: - rounds 1 to 9, 3 rounds per day.
Knockout: - 8 players. The top two from each block qualify. The best two of the third place getters also qualify decided on Match wins, net games and net points.
Saturday 9th January: - round 1 and Semi final best of 3 x 13 points games.
Sunday 10th January: - singles Final best of 5 x 13 point games.
Sunday 10th January: - 3rd and 4th playoff best of 3 x 13 point games.
Sunday 10th January: - 5th to 8th place KO play offs best of 1 x 13 point games.
Plate: - 2 American blocks of 19 players Block A 10 players, Block B 9-Players. Nine rounds of best of 1 x 13 point games.
Saturday 9th January: - Rounds 1 to 7.
Sunday 10th January: - Rounds 8 and 9
Sunday 10th January: - Final between the top players of each block best of 1 x 19 point game.
