Who needs the Olympics when they can be watching our ladies play in the semi-finals and finals today! The semi-final match between “the Debbies” had some spectacular moments. Debby J. Seemed to hit every single shot with precision. Debbie D. Won the match with an amazing, long clearing shot that not only cleared the ball, but also scored the hoop! It was exciting.

Meanwhile, the Semi-final match between Susie Day and Michelle Chaiken went an hour and a half! It was a battle that keep swinging back and forth between the players, finally going to a tie breaker where Michelle came out the victor.

We then moved into the best 2 out of 3 finals between Debbie D. And Michelle. The first game went quickly, going to Debbie with a score of 7-2. Michelle came out fighting, and clearing and played a beautiful second game but it wasn’t enough as Debbie took the crown.

What an amazing tournament played by all the participants. Thanks to everybody for all the hard work and dedication….and especially to Brooklyn and the Volunteers who kept everything running smoothly.
