Mission Hills GC Open — Day 4 —

PLATE QUARTERFINALS & SEMI-FINALS

The top seed in the Plate Knockout, Karl-Heinz, reaches the final by going through his opponents in two quick matches. He’s determined to go back to the Bay Area with a trophy, and to do that, he’ll have to square up against Giancarlo. This match should be interesting, a rematch from the first Knockout round which went to Karl in three games.

MAIN KNOCKOUT

Paul Bennett and Rich Lamm, the top two seeds of the tournament will meet on Lawn 2 for the final match. They both survived their semi-finals, but it wasn’t easy. Cam Evans, and club pro Brian Lozano gave the two finalists their first defeats of the tournament and forced a decisive third game. This final match-up will be between two seasoned veteran croquet players. Many years of experience and accomplishments in the croquet world from both, we can look forward to a very high level match.
