Boundary placement: answer to Cecil's question by Dom Nunns

If a player's stance isn't flat, or if the surrounding netting would interfere with the swing, the player can take relief by moving the ball into the court until there's no longer a problem, generally not more than a foot or two. The amount of relief needed can vary by player due to differing stances and swings. If they're clearing a ball 6 yards away or less, the other ball generally gets moved as well to keep the shot as similar as possible.
