Swindon's first GC C series tournament was held on a hot 8 July on lightning fast courts. 12 players from 9 clubs enjoyed a day of strong and mainly close competitive games.

The final between Jill Bateman, Cheltenham (4 wins in Block A) and Mark Keogh, Caversham (winning all 5 games in BlockA) resulted in a very closely-fought game with Jill Bateman finally winning out 7 - 6 on the 'golden hoop'.
