The 2023 AC Upper North Island Teams Event was held at the Morrinsville Croquet Club in the Thames Valley Association over the weekend of January 28 and 29. 2023.
Due to heavy overnight rain Saturday play was delayed until 11.00am to allow the lawns to drain with a lot of help with squeegees.
On Sunday morning the heavens opened up with thunder at about 7.30 and flooded the lawns again. This time the rain did not ease up as on Saturday and the decision was made by the players present to abandon play for this year with no winning result
due to some associations having byes on Saturday.
