Welcome to CNZ Women's G C Championship that will be played at Takapuna Croquet Club, 8 Auburn Street, Takapuna 0622, on 19th & 20th October.
There will be plenty of parking available & players should arrive for registration by 8.30am on Saturday to enable a warm-up at 8.55am with start of play at 9 am.
croquetscores.com will be updated after the finish of each round. There is no internet available but phones can be used.
Saturday's Format: The 16 players will be ranked as at 11 October. Saturday's play will commence with two seeded blocks each playing a round robin of seven rounds with double banking.
The games will be untimed.
Sunday's Format: Will be played as Best of Three in the 'Champ 8' knockout comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals & Championship Final. The 4 quarter-final losers playoff in a round robin for 5th to 8th positions. The two semi-final losers play-off for the Bowl Winner.

The 'Plate 8' will also be played as Best of Three knockout, comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals & Plate Final. The 4 quarter-final losers will play-off for 13th to 16th placings in a round robin. The two semi-final winners play-off to find the Plate Winner with the two semi-final losers playing-off for 11th & 12th positions. The latter Plate matches could be in consultation with the players.
Practice available: On Friday afternoon from 3.30 to 4.30pm.

Appeals Committee: An Appeals Committee has been appointed - should it been required.
AHS cards: These will be used and should be handed in prior to start of play.

Best 3+ Player: The 3+ badge will be awarded to the player with the highest placing. Details page 16 in the Year Book.
Catering: Grazing food will be available all day, both days, together with tea and coffee.
For players who don't bring their lunch, an order form can be filled out each morning for sandwiches $8 or sushi/rice meal combo's $9 - $10. These will be collected by 11.30am from New World, & placed in the fridge with your name.
