The Junior Champs for 12 HC and higher was set down for two days with 15 players entered, split into three groups of five, each group playing a round robin. The top player in each group would go through to play a round robin of three to decide the overall winner. Due to the weather looking to be bad on the second day, the three group winners were given the option of playing the final round on day one. The three group winners were, Pam Badcock, Alison Sutherland and Lorraine Wilson. The overall winner was Alison defeating both Pam and Lorraine in the final round.
