Welcome to the CNZ 3+ GC Championships that will be held on Saturday 14th - 15th February 2026 at Epsom Remuera Croquet Club,259 Gilles Avenue, Epsom Auckland
Geraldine Lummis [email protected] is the Tournament Manager and will be assisted by Chris Smith. The Tournament Referee will be Sharon Browne.

The Appeals Committee will be Tournament Referee Sharon Browne and two other qualified referees.

The lawns will be open on Friday 13th February, between 3 – 5 pm for any entrants wishing to practice. PLEASE USE THE OLD HOOP HOLES FOR THE PRACTICE.

Starting time on both days is 8.30 am. Please be at the Clubhouse by 8 am on Saturday 14th February for an official welcome and briefing, and to allow time for a 5min warm-up session prior to play. The 5 min warm-up will apply each day.

Please remember to bring your AHS Card and hand it to Chris Smith.

The Clubhouse Fee of $5 per day is included in your entry fee and covers morning and afternoon tea. Lunch (not covered by fee} will be available on both Saturday and Sunday

Format All games will be 13 points.
a. Day 1 - Round robin where every player plays each other. Games are 13 points. The block will be seeded using the D Grade. No time limits. No double banking.
b. Day 2
i. The top 4 finishers of the block will play a Knockout - 4 v 1, 2 v 3 for the semifinal. The winners of the two games will play the final to determine the winner and runner up (trophy & badge). The two who lost the semi-final will play for 3rd & 4th place.
ii. The bottom 4 of the block from Day 1 will play a Knockout the same as the top 4. They will play for the Plate. There will be one winner for the Plate and no runner up.

The draw is based on giving full tournament play for all competitors. The draw will be listed on Croquet Scores. All events are seeded according to World Rankings. If a player does not have a world ranking, the AHS card index will be used to rank those on the same handicap. The draw will be seeded.
There will be no time limits for any match. However, the manager may enforce time limits if time pressure becomes an issue for the event.
This letter will be downloaded onto Croquet Scores in the Commentary section for your reference.
General Information:
• All games will be posted on Croquet Scores.
• Trophy, Badge and certificates will be awarded at the end of the event.
• If you leave the grounds during the event, please check with the manager prior to leaving.
• Parking is available on the drive or at the top left of the drive.
• There is no wifi at the club available for general use.
• Lunch is available at the Club on Saturday and Sunday at $10 per day. You can pay by cash on the day or direct payment to the account below:

Catering
• Morning tea will be available starting at 9.30am until 11.00am.
