Delayed start due to rain. Only lawn 2 has a small puddle in cnr 1. Waiting for the forecasted fine weather. Debate as to whether we get in 2 or 3 rounds today.

Games started an hour late but were played in reasonable weather. Rain came in just as the games were finishing. The Open section is not going to play round 5. The critical game is between Marion McInnes and Kathie Grant who have one both their games to date.

Afternoon play was in very windy conditions with the shelter shaking at times. Although there was light rain at times the lawns dried out a bit but between the rain and the wind made for very difficult playing conditions. Marion McInnes played excellent rounds in these very difficult conditions and a well deserved winner of this tournament.

Excellent play by Heather Richardson who won the 4+ section and her handicap has now come down to a handicap 3. We look forward to seeing her play in future 0-3 tournaments.
