The Shield

The Shield is a best-of-3 knockout, and will retain the draw from the main Knock Out Stage. Tom Balding required at 10:00. Alain Giraud has a bye and is not required Friday, although if he and the winner of Watson v. Riva both wish to start their semifinal tomorrow afternoon, that will be arranged if feasible. All others required at 8:30.

The Plate Knockout

The 16 qualifiers have been drawn into the Plate Knockout. The players were ordered by latest available world ranking DGrade; the top 4 were placed in the normal top 4 seed positions; the players ranked 5 to 8 were drawn randomly into the normal 5-8 seed positions, and likewise for the players ranked 9 to 16.

First-round matches are single-game. Time limit 3 hours. The Plate KO will be best-of-3 from the quarterfinals onward. The quarterfinals will begin as players are available.

The draw has been posted to Croquet Scores. Court assignments will be made in the morning. All players required at 8:30.

The Manager's Invitational

The first set of games will be assigned at 11:00 or thereabouts. If, at that time, we don't have enough courts to assign everyone a game (or if there is an odd number), we will do a random draw to determine who plays first.

Correction

Robert Fletcher and James Death are not required until 10:00; they follow the Avery/Johnston match on Court 6.
